I had a great “unplugged” mini vacation (and birthday!) and actually feel recharged and remotivated!<\/p>\n

If you can manage it on your next vacation, I highly recommend leaving all electronic doodads and things that buzz or beep completely off and put away. The freedom is astonishingly refreshing!<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, things where I work caught rabies, rolled in gasoline, ate a ex-lax and frito sammich, and then lit a cigarette in front of a bipolar former nicotine addict on steroids fresh out of prison. In other words, things got ugly. I’ve got a lot of work to do this week to get things back to normal.<\/p>\n

Oh, and for future reference, chocolate cake with extra thick chocolate frosting is totally acceptable at any time. Banana splits, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
