{"id":3214,"date":"2011-02-02T09:27:39","date_gmt":"2011-02-02T15:27:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/royceeddington.com\/?p=3214"},"modified":"2011-02-02T09:27:39","modified_gmt":"2011-02-02T15:27:39","slug":"rolling-blackouts-for-texas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/royceeddington.com\/?p=3214","title":{"rendered":"Rolling blackouts for Texas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I tweeted this but wanted to drop into the blog too. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/news\/local\/What-ERCOT-mandated-power-outages-mean-115096129.html\">WFAA<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themonitor.com\/articles\/valley-46765-grande-temperatures.html\">The Monitor<\/a> say &#8220;the Electric Reliability Council of Texas \u2014 which manages much of the state&#8217;s electric grid \u2014 ordered rotating blackouts across the state to cope with heightened demand for power.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Blackouts are going to hit Houston, Dallas, Ft Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Abilene and the Rio Grande Valley soon. Blackouts should only last 30 minutes or so (yeah, right!).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I tweeted this but wanted to drop into the blog too.
