Once an HEB opens in a city, no other grocery store remains for long. They&#8217;ve got their own products that spank national brands senseless, and if it&#8217;s not on their super-sized store shelves, it&#8217;s not worth your time. I think there&#8217;s even a little HEB logo in the corner of all Texas flags.<\/p>\n<p>Having said all that, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fda.gov\/Safety\/Recalls\/ucm430407.htm\">today HEB announced<\/a> they&#8217;re making a &#8220;voluntary and precautionary recall&#8221; on some of their Homestyle White Corn tortillas.<\/p>\n<p>Nobody is sick, and nobody is hurt, but HEB noticed &#8220;on January 13, 2015 during quality assurance product reviews at [their] manufacturing facility&#8230; the possible presence of foreign material.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The products to kick out are&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>H-E-B Homestyle White Corn Tortillas 12 ct. packages with Best By dates of January 22, 2015 and earlier<\/li>\n<li>H-E-B Homestyle White Corn Tortillas 30 ct. packages with Best By dates of January 22, 2015 and earlier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve got either of these, take them to a local HEB to get your money back. &#8220;Customers with concerns or questions may contact H-E-B Customer Relations at 210-938-8357 or 1-800-432-3113 between the hours of 8AM and 5PM Monday through Friday.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For those of you that don&#8217;t have an HEB &#8211; my sympathies.
