Business based road trip today. Another one scheduled for tomorrow. 8 hours on the highway this week, and it ain’t even Wednesday yet. Eeeesh.

Things will return to normal ASAP.

In the meantime, some quick observations…

* Coffee at gas stations is surprisingly stronger and better tasting than most Starbucks.

* You need a truck past a certain point in Texas. Drive anything else and it’s at your own peril.

* Rest areas in Texas have free Wifi. But the vending machines are still behind iron gates.

* Funyuns taste better on road trips.

* Sometimes it’s better to turn off the A/C, roll down the windows, put on the classics, and enjoy the ride.

Updating some backend plugins. If the blog hiccups here and there it should be OK after a refresh of the page.

Just updated my FLICKR account.

Now you can see the original size of 3264 x 2448 on all photos and I won’t have a limit on my monthly photo postings.

For a manual update, that wasn’t too terrible.

Now for a lot of fine tuning…

In the process of updating WordPress. The site might look funny until I’m done…

I took a day off to unpack stuff, buy a new washer and dryer, and do some general new-home-needs-this kind of stuff. I just took a break to look at the time and DAAAAAAMN.

Added two Google ad-links on sidebar. I’m not going to put any ads in the middle of the posts or blog though. Sidebar only!

Live Twitter feed, Flickr link, Contact Me page, Google XML sitemap and Google Analytics are done.

– Now this site looks good on an Android or an iPhone browser.

– Added “Add To Any” bar. So when I actually post some content it can be forwarded properly.
