NYT: Britain approves inVitro babies with DNA of three people

In today’s New York Times Digest, there’s a story about how Britain is now the first country to allow the “in vitro creation of babies using the DNA of three people“.

Although this is intended for use only “sparingly”, it’s amazing/terrifying what can be done nowadays.
